Purpose

Public Relations and Advertising, which is planned to be opened, is a sector that is equipped with the knowledge, skills and abilities to serve in every unit of the information and communication sector, communication strategies, implementation of communication campaigns, advertising communication and applications, corporate communication departments, adheres to ethical values, is aware of the realities of the world and especially the country. It aims to train "public relations experts" who are knowledgeable and believe in the importance of lifelong learning.

For this purpose, in the Public Relations and Advertising Program, it is planned to provide training on all stages of the planning, preparation and marketing of original works, creative projects and their derivatives in the field of communication and advertising, as well as theoretical information about the field.

In addition, the Public Relations and Advertising Program will include courses that provide "professional preparation" information such as media relations, management and organization, media literacy, quality management in public relations, image management, and project-internship-oriented practices. As it is known, individuals who are well-equipped in their field, can meet the needs in the sector, can provide maximum benefit to the companies they work for in terms of advertising, and have high communication and imagination are required in the field of work. Therefore, received academic training in public relations and advertising; There has been a need to train individuals who can reconcile theory and practice fields. The Public Relations and Advertising Program, which is planned to be opened, aims to meet this requirement.
