The course curriculum of the Public Relations and Advertising Program coincides with the course programs in other Universities. However, the "Public Relations and Advertising" Program that is planned to be opened differs from public relations and advertising programs in terms of content and the function and implementation of the training. In this context, there are many departments (Aksaray University - Atılım University – Beykent University – Gelisim University) opened with the same name throughout Turkey. In addition, there are departments abroad that provide similar education under the name of "Public Relations and Advertising" and have been opened with the same name. As a result, it will be preferred by students as the Public Relations and Advertising Undergraduate Program, which will provide education that will fill a gap in an extremely important field in undergraduate education.
In the Public Relations and Advertising Undergraduate Program planned to be opened within Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Communication, you will be able to define public relations tools and methods; It is aimed to raise individuals with critical and aesthetic values who can produce original works in the professional field, develop projects and activities for their social environments, and are equipped with theoretical knowledge and practical applications. For this purpose, the Public Relations and Advertising Undergraduate Program, which is planned to be opened, It aims to progress successfully with the support of the Faculty of Communication's experienced faculty members from the sector and its strong academic staff, in order to train qualified personnel who can explain the interdisciplinary interaction with the fields of Public Relations, find employment opportunities in a wide range and respond to the expectations of communication and advertising.
50 quotas are proposed for the Public Relations and Advertising Program, which is planned to be opened within the Faculty of Communication of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. The proposed Public Relations and Advertising program is expected to be above 85% occupancy with 50 quotas.

Public Relations and Advertising Strengths Considered:
- The Public Relations and Advertising Program, which is planned to be opened, will close an educational gap related to the field. Public Relations and Advertising stands out by providing interdisciplinary interaction and being a "shining star" with advanced theoretical and applied knowledge.
- Graduates of the "Public Relations and Advertising Program" will make the content of the concept of public relations more clear and emphasize what kind of education the students received during their education.
- The strength of the Public Relations and Advertising Program is that, unlike the public relations and promotion department that has similar features, it will provide students with "academic awareness" on advertising, media relations and reputation management through compulsory internships in line with the collaborations with the leading institutions of the sector.
- Another strong aspect of the "Public Relations and Advertising Program" is that, in addition to the compulsory courses specific to the field of public relations and advertising, the program will prepare students for working life with elective and "special" applied courses. In other words, it is the strength of the Program to have an education that is "specific" to the field and that will be supported by courses that can be seen in similar programs in foreign countries. Students will be able to take courses and specialize in areas of their own orientation, such as photojournalism, popular culture and media, event management, art movements and creativity.

"Public Relations and Advertising Program", which is planned to be opened at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Communication, has both theoretical and practical courses in its curriculum. The curriculum of the program is focused on courses in application and research methods. This is the "distinctive and powerful" feature of the program. Because the basic principle of the Program is that the Public Relations and Advertising Undergraduate Program is an academically focused program that provides access to undergraduate and non-degree research programs and professional practices that require a high level of knowledge and skills.
Graduates of the department can work in the public and private sectors in areas such as public relations specialist, communication consultant, Social Media Specialist, press consultant and copywriter.
The need of institutions and organizations for public relations and advertising, which continues to be effective in every field, continues to an increasing extent. Students who are lacking in versatile training, such as public relations experts, communication consultants, social media experts, who have creative/productive skills and are equipped with scientific and applied knowledge, will be trained through the "Public Relations and Advertising Undergraduate Program".
As a result, we believe that the Public Relations and Advertising Undergraduate Program, which is planned to be opened within the Faculty of Communication of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, will provide additional prestige, diversity and field richness for our University.
